The Wellington Dutch Club sponsors Dutch Week in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt at the
Koraunui Community Hub/Library.
There will be a display of Dutch things in Koraunui Community Hub/library,
the library will showcase books from Dutch writers, or books relating to The Netherlands in other ways.
Friday 29th of April.
As it’s school holidays, we will treat the children on Friday 29th of April to a programme of Dutch activities, games and snacks.
Sessions are:
- 10am-12 noon
- 1.30-3.30pm
A maximum of 20 children per session.
Children must be between 7-12 years of age; younger children have to be accompanied by an adult.
As an extra treat, children can
- dress up in traditional costume
- try walking in clogs and
- have their photo taken.
All this takes place in
Koraunui Community Hub.

Throughout the week one of the Wellington Dutch Club members, in costume, will go to the local shopping centre to hand out speculaas.
